Supported and unsupported headsets at SexLikeReal
This page is the single source of truth for VR headset support on SexLikeReal. SexLikeReal can be accessed via the DeoVR app, or your VR headset browser. We recommend the Meta Quest 3s headset for the best results.
Why Does SexLikeReal No Longer Support Certain VR Headsets?
We focus on building for the latest VR technology so playback stays smooth, secure, and ready for new features. Older devices eventually fall behind when vendors lower performance settings, stop updates, or lack support for modern codecs and security standards. At that point, continued support slows development for everyone.

Deprecated Headsets:
These headsets are no longer supported and will not receive updates.
The Quest 1 and other outdated headsets will give the "Unsupported Format" error message. See below for possible workarounds. VR headset browser can be an option: enter sexlikereal.com into your browser.
Supported:
These headsets deliver the full SLR experience with all features available.
Apple Vision Pro:
- Apple Vision Pro is supported with some restrictions due to Apple's OS, such as passthrough. Currently accessible via Safari headset browser (see below). We're working to provide passthrough for AVP users.
Conditional:
These headsets work today but with limits noted, and support may change.
Note: Meta is winding down support for the Quest 2 and Quest Pro headsets so these are unlikely to be supported long-term. If you have either of these headsets, we strongly recommend upgrading to the Quest 3S.
PCVR Headsets:
- Most modern SteamVR/WMR headsets, inc Valve Index, HTC Vive, etc
However, these are only conditionally recommended. Steam is known to have performance issues. Virtual Desktop or Quest Link are not recommended.
Headset Browser:
The SexLikeReal platform can often be accessed via the browser in your VR headset, though some features will be missing. Simply enter sexlikereal.com into your headset browser. Follow the VR headset web browser blog for more information.
PSVR Headsets:
Not recommended. Ultimately, it's not worth the cost for the reduced experience.
PSVR2: You need to purchase a dongle to use the PSVR2 as a PCVR HMD. OLED screens means pitch-black blacks and improved brightness, but the lenses and other elements are better on the Quest 3. There are known issues with the controllers meaning the PS5 gamepad must be used to navigate SLR via DeoVR.
PSVR: Outdated.
Unofficial fixes:
Users at the DeoVR forum have discovered possible workarounds for using DeoVR on the Oculus Go and Rift users. Please note: these are unofficial and you try them at your own risk.
